Guided tours – price list

We offer our services (in Polish, English, German and Spanish) both to individual tourists and organized groups. We are flexible as far as Guided Tours’ topics, dates and durations are concerned. Continuing the Work Ethos Poznań is famous for, our activity is obviously entirely legal – we issue invoices for our services. However, we would like to emphasize that there is at least one point on which we break stereotypes about inhabitants of Poznań – our Guided Tours are available at affordable prices.

OFFER

Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island) and Śródka – Here Poland began! (1,5-2 hrs)

The oldest part of Poznań, an island between the rivers of Warta and Cybina. It’s highly probable that Mieszko I was baptized on Ostrów Tumski in the year 966, the event which was considered to be the beginning of the Polish State. Today it is incredibly picturesque and quiet place, an oasis of calm at the heart of the conurbation of 1 million people!

The most important monuments on the route: The Cathedral (with its vaults and Golden Chapel), Palace of Mieszko I, Psalm Singers’ House, The Lubrański Academy, Cathedral Lock, The Bishop Jordan Bridge, The Archbishop’s Palace.
Admission fees: The Cathedral (5 PLN reduced fee (children/students), 6 PLN regular fee)
Possible extension of sightseeing: Porta Posnania, Genius Loci Archaeological Reserve, The Archdiocesan Museum.

Old Town – Billy Goats and much more! (1,5 – 2 hrs)

The Old Town was created in 1253, when Poznań was built again on the left bank of the Warta River (the fortified settlement on Cathedral Island was already too small). Today it’s the most popular place among tourists, full of charming corners, beautiful townhouses and admirable monuments, with Town Hall and Parish Church as top attractions.

The most important monuments on the route:Town Hall (at 12:00 – Billy Goats), Church of St Stanislaus the Bishop (The Parish Church – we visit its interior) with the Jesuit College, The Royal Castle, The Pillory, The Well of a Bamberg Woman, The National Museum, Górka Palace.
Possible extension of sightseeing: Poznań Croissant Museum, Town Hall's interior, Models of Old Poznań, Viewing platform at the top of the Royal Castle.

From Freedom Square to Castle Quarter (1,5-2 hrs)

If you look for the places in Poznań, where the most important events happened in the 19th and 20th century you should certainly visit the area between Freedom Square and Castle Quarter. This walk will show you both great history (struggle with Prussian occupants, Greater Poland Uprising, Enigma, The Poznań June 1956) and interesting architecture (The Raczyński Library, The Round House, Castle Quarter).

The most important monuments on the route: The Bazar Hotel, The Raczyński Library, The Polish Theatre, The Round House, The Imperial Castle (together with its interior), Polish Cryptologists’ Monument, Monument to the Poznań Uprising of 1956.
Possible extension of sightseeing: detailed tour of The Imperial Castle, Museum of The Poznań Uprising of 1956.
